Welcome to my blog

Welcome to my blog for 2010! I have created this blog so all my friends and supporters can share my journey as I head to Europe to compete in dual world championships. In August I will race at the World swimming championships in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. My events are 50m breaststroke and 150m Individual medley and I race on August 19 and 20. I then head to Budapest, Hungary for my first ever paratriathlon world championships. I took up triathlon in September 2009, and am thrilled to be racing internationally for the first time, and even more thrilled that i will be out there racing on the course with the best able bodied and paratriathletes in the world all integrated into the one event. The race will be a sprint distance (swim 750m, cycle 20km on my handcycle and 'run' 5km in my racing wheelchair).
